There are a wide range of break out sessions on offer at the Annual Meetings, including training sessions, workshops, and talks.
‘Using Your Privilege’
Judy Ryde, of the Bath Unitarian Fellowship, is a psychotherapist and author of ‘White Privilege Unmasked: how to be part of the solution’. This workshop will help us as individuals and as a movement to recognise and understand the privilege we have, including its historical roots, and how we might use our power in expression of our Unitarian values. This workshop will run on Thursday 9th April, 8:45am.
‘Unitarian College – One Year On’
Helen Mason (Director), Ant Howe (Ministry Tutor) and Michael Dadson (Placement Assessor), along with some Unitarian College students will take you through the remarkable progress the College has made since launching last year. There will be information about:
• Ministry Training
• the College’s Unifest activities for families
• our burgeoning programmes for Student Mentors and Unitarian Chaplains
• our early plans for leadership training for all Unitarian communities
• our international work
• the public launch of our online course in UK Unitarian history
Please do come and join us to find out what the inspiring and innovative Unitarian College has to offer you and your Unitarian community. This workshop will run on Wednesday 8th April, 2.55pm.
